Summary

Delivers issue #12 — updates the introductory copy on the home page (index.html) so it reads "Thoughts on code, design, and the occasional road trip. New posts coming soon." The previous text mentioning "the occasional recipe" is removed. This is a copy-only change: no other content, styling, layout, navigation, or functionality is touched.

What changed

  • index.html — one line of copy on the home page: the occasional recipe → the occasional road trip (everything else in the file is byte-for-byte identical to main).

Criterion → test mapping

Criterion Test
The index file displays: "Thoughts on code, design, and the occasional road trip. New posts coming soon." Verified directly against index.html (line 22); tests/scaffold.test.js → "the site has a home page with a semantic navigation bar" still passes against the changed file
The previous text containing "the occasional recipe" is removed grep -n "recipe" over the branch returns no matches in any file
No other content, styling, layout, or functionality is changed PR diff touches exactly one line in one file (index.html); full suite npm test → 30/30 pass on the head commit

Out of scope (as specified in the issue)

  • No changes to any other page copy, design, styling, layout, navigation, or application functionality.

Verification

  • npm test on the head commit: 30/30 green (node v22.23.2, Node built-in test runner).
  • The changed sentence renders inside the existing <p> in <main>; no markup, classes, or assets were altered.

Rollback

  • Revert the single-line change in index.html from "the occasional road trip" back to "the occasional recipe" (per the issue's rollback note).
