Intent

The server renders article HTML that works with JavaScript disabled, renders title, metadata and blocks semantically, derives canonical URLs, and returns 404 for missing or draft content.

Acceptance criteria

Server returns article HTML for a published article
Rendered article works with JavaScript disabled
Title, metadata and blocks render semantically
Canonical URL is derived from site and post values
Missing or draft article returns a 404 response
Quote and code overflow and focus behaviours are covered

Explicitly out of scope

Theme API v1 minimum contract (E07-S01)
Amber theme tokens and design language (E07-S02)

Test plan

Sprint 1 critical E2E journey verifies publish then open public article
Automated test renders with JS disabled and checks semantic output

Rollback note

Revert the SSR renderer and redeploy; no data change required
